Re: [APML] Best 120 color film?
Loke,
The film that I used is called Agfa Optima II 400. I am not sure that an
Optima 400 (without the II) is available in the UK. The test shot that I
took was last winter, also of the Horsehead region. It showed an exactly
similar characteristic as Philipp's shot (dominance of reds and blues) but
the shot was very weak because of poor transparency so I did not keep the
scan. I could scan it again for anyone who's interested, though it will
have to wait until just after Christmas because right now I'm in the middle
of packing the gear to go to France. I will have some hypered Optima with
me, though unfortunately taking some shots with it will have to be low on
my list of priorities. I still have about 20 rolls of 120 format GPY (PPF)
which would be the safer option until I have tested the Optima properly.
