The best opinions are that we haven't found the right replacement for PPF
yet <g> I tried hypered Agfa Optima II 400 and it had been over-hypered a
bit, but its red response was so poor I don't have any desire to test it
further. My next test will probably be the Fuji Provia 400, but I have never
liked the slide films very much. So far my best results have been composites
of PPF with E200; the E200 helps with the grain of the aging PPF and the PPF
helps with the color and dynamic range of the E200. I wish there was some LE
400 (aka PJ aka PJM) in 120 format. Or perhaps the RG200 everyone is liking
so well.
