My first real test of Hyped RG200 The pic isn't that great.
There's some star trailing which I think was due to the Telephoto lens I used.
I'm not sure. I shot it at 400mm and guided it with the ST-4 at 2,000mm. The
ST-4 was returning A3-A4 Errors so I know the guiding was pretty
good.
As far as the Hyped RG200 goes: I used Tony
Hallas' suggestion of outgasing for 2hrs with a cycle every 15 min then hyped it
at 50C under +3Psi for 2 hrs. Inspite of the star trails I think this shows the
RG200 works pretty good on full spectrum objects. This is a 1 1/2hr exposure
stacked with a 15min for the core combined using Jerry L's stacking
method.
Thanks, Jerry and
Tony! http://flyboy999.freeyellow.com/Galxies/M31.htm
