Thank you Jon, Fred and Anthony. My version of Outlook Express wasn't
exactly like your directions, but I was able to set it up & just got my
first letter in the new folder. Things should be a lot more organized now!
Thanks a million,
Lydia
Lydia,
Open Outlook express. Right click on
Inbox and create a new folder called APML. Now right click on the
new folder APML and create another new folder called incoming. Now click
on tools (at the top of the screen), message rules, then mail. You will
see a dialog box for creating a rule. Click on new and follow the
instructions. You want to click "where the subject line contains
specific words" Then look in box 3 and change specific words to
APML. Now go to box 2 and click on "move to specified folder" and change
the specified to incoming. Now click OK. This will separate all
the APML mail to the new incoming folder under APML. You can do the same
thing for all the lists you belong to. It works pretty
nice.
Good luck and if you have any problems e-mail me
off list.
Regards,
Fred Lusen W5CWO

Subject: [APML] Seperate folder for
APML?
Could someone tell me how to automatically receive APML letters in
a separate folder and not the Inbox in Outlook Express ?
