Hi All-
I just got off the phone with Nigel Sharp - he indicates it is
indeed an approximation to visual appearance. He complains that ALL
pictures of emission objects are much too red. Astronomy merely
downloaded it from the NOAO website, and in my opinion, did a great job
of reproducing that image. You can judge for yourself at
http://www.noao.edu/image_gallery/html/im0473.html.
