I just recently purchased an new Acer Scanwit 2720S(with 1 year
manufaturer warranty) on ebay for $269.00(retail $499.00), still awaiting
it's arrival so I can't give you any background on it but I hope it's
everything it's cracked up to be. It's scans slides and negs at 2700 dpi
with 36 bit color depth, some of this list's members use this scanner and
give it high marks. Below is a link with a review on it.
