I have already taken a quickcam express, placed it in a box and attached a
Pentax K mount ring from a broken camera. It actually got first light
yesterday tracking a star. The plastic cover for the box has the webcam
attached to it.
Since that worked (I still need to get the distance right, but that is more
hacking around :). I intend to build a second cover with a knife edge focuser.
For about $6 US, I reckon it will be a great starting point :).
So time will tell :).
