The Photosmart S-20 scanner is great for prints. It
is OK for slides but it has more problems scanning slides than prints. And as a
bonus it will scan up to 5x7 prints.
I am looking into a quality slide/film scanner
for myself (Xmas coming and all). Currently I have 4x6 prints made
from slides and then scan the prints on my flatbed scanner. However, am I
correct in assuming better results with a direct scan of the slide? What
affordable scanners are recommended?
