Re: [APML] Attn "newborn" on APML
Guys forgive me, maybe I missed an earlier thread. Can you bring me up to
speed? Does this sound like something anyone's experiencing:
Upon opening Outlook Express there is an APML message but rather than in my
"Astro-Photo" Inbox, it's in my regular one. The message is blank but has an
attachment. It demands that I save to file, otherwise just opening, or
attempts to delete are met with an "Illegal Operation/Must Be Closed"
message which shuts down OE. After successive tries I can get them into
"Deletes". Once I Saved to File and it turned out to be a blank WAV (audio)
file??
Thanks, Warren

I'm no expert at this, but when I click a message from APML and then
Norton's goes ballistic and says it is quaranteening the badtrans stuff, it
gets my attention. Whether it is the real thing or just an imitation
mimicking the real badtrans, I don't know. But the fact remains that
someone out there is posting messages with an unprotected and infected
computer. That is what I was upset about. If APML is not forwarding the
real thing, thats great.
