I just wanted to give my impressions of the GEG after having made several
exposures
with it on my 10" lx200. It is a real delight to use. I had some initial
frustration until I learned how I needed to set the extension tube to focus
the guiding eyepiece, but now it's great! Finding a suitable guide star is
a breeze, and the adjustments are all very useful; especially the camera
rotating adjustment. It's a very simple matter to compose your picture
correctly.
I've used the GEG in the "straight-through" f/10 mode without the reducer
and have used it at f/6.6 with the reducer behind the prism. 
I'd hate to go back to the Meade off-axis guider, finding a good guide star
was a real pain. Even though the GEG is 5 times the cost, it's worth every
penny!
