[APML]: drift allignment

I would be sending this to MAPUG but it's down for now; perhaps several
APMLers with lx200 experience can help. I got several pics developed today
and was quite pleased except for the field rotation that showed up. I'm
trying to nail down my permanent allignment and am not quite there yet. I
was close but I think I turned a knob the wrong way. :-( . I know that on
the first drift star if it drifts up (using a diagonal) you move the star
to the right in the eyepiece. This is done with the clockwise turning of
the east az knob on a lx200.
For the second star on the eastern horizon, if it has upward drift, then
which direction, up or down, should it be moved in the field of view?
Looking at the altitude adjustment knob from south of the scope, will this
require a clockwise or counter cw adjustment on the lx200?

Thanks for your help,
