Some of the folks on the CCD mail list may be able to answer that
question.
Just send e-mail message to ccd-request@wwa.com and place
either the word "subscribe" or "unsubscribe" in the message area,
depending on whether you want to get on or off the list.
That will get you the one-shot mode. I know you can subscribe to a
digest version, but I don't have the info on how to do it.
