When I started printing color, I had a terrible problem with the
borders coming out blue. Eventually I tracked it down to the tap
water I was mixing the chems with, it had a ph of 8.7...

Wausau, Wisconsin It's been a while since I've done any printing and the bottle of developer was less than 1/2 full. My photography book suggested a problem with the developer causing blue streaks and I'm not getting any with this newly mixed developer, so I'd guess that was my problem...well...as far as the prints went, anyways. :-)
