The last time I hypered a roll of Kodak Elite II 100, it came out very green.
I had the film processed within 48 hrs of hypering, and i hypered at 50C as well.
Have you tried E100S unhypered? I have tried both Elite II 100 and 400
unhypered, and i found the 100 tends to turn a bit green even unhypered. Some have
suggested the 100 emulsion is sensitive to artificial light, and the greeness is from
mercury vapour lighting.
A few years ago I took some night shots on slide film around the city I live
in. These were time exposures of 15 seconds to 5 minutes, depending on what & where I
was shooting. All of the night slides came out with a very strong green cast,
whereas the daylight shots on the same roll did not.
On they hypered roll of Elite 100 I told you about, I shot some daylight
picutres as well, and they all turned out greensh too.
So perhaps it is a combination of both the hypering process and the
sensitivity of the film ot artifical light. If you are of the inclination to do so,
experiment shoot a roll of E100S unhypered from the same location. Elite II 100 has
very little reciprocity failure, and if E100S is similar that way, it should work
nicely even unhypered.
good luck
