Exactly on the money. My Hurst is an AC motor, and ht eonly thing I do not
like aobut my drive at times is either th elack of slewing or a proper RA lock. Mine
is the friction clutch. However, the drive tracks beautifully, although I have never
measured the P.E.
Just out of curosity, should it not say directly ont henewer motors exactly
what they are. Mine reads 5 RPM, 115 V, 60 HZ, 3W - and was made in 09/86. I suppose
I should not be upset it crapped out after all this time. Mike should be able to read
similar information off the face of his motor.
Just out of curoisity, you mentioned that you were able to adapt your
autoguider to your older drive corrector. I have an older drive corrector myself, and
was wondering how you did this (for the "electronically challenged" like myself).
