45 minutes is a rather short exposure at f/8 especially for development
in HC-110 but it was only a "filler" photo while we waited for the moon
to set. I wanted to see how HC-110 would work on the center bright part.

A little hard to say but I think it was a couple arc seconds overhead early
on as I polar aligned. I looked at Saturn at the beginning of twilight but
the scope was being shook so much that it was hard to tell. During moments
of no vibration Saturn looked great. I can't really say if it was great all
the time or not. One thing for sure, wind at Chews Ridge does not affect seeing
the way it does at most places. If we had wind like that at my house seeing
would have been 20". :-) But being a mountaintop, it doesn't act like that
there. I guess Mauna Kea has wind most of the time but they still have good
seeing.
