  it's about 100-40 mmHg for water pump. 
  usually in a lab 0.01mmHg vacuum is pretty good. (oil pump)
  0.00001mmHg vacuum is high vacuum. (diffusion pump)
  and in some "crazy" lab they can achive vaccum <0.00001mmHg.
  however it depends on your money. 8-Q
