        A goos tainless steel roll and tank works nicely.  I ahve found sometimes 
there is a difference between brand and "no-name" brands.  Out of about 8 SS reels I 
have, two of them I picked up once just will not quite take a full 36 exp roll of 
film.
        Looking at them from on top, beside other reels, you can see that the "spiral" 
on the cheeper reels is not a tighly wound as the other reels.  Take a look at this if 
you purchase any reels.
