Re: [APML] OT: A prayer for the hurricane victims
Hi Richard,
The OT is certainly welcome.
Jerry lives outside of Philly. I know that he was from that area originally
though. When I see how devastated the New Orleans area is, I remember this
shot of his taken of the Superdome and city skyline.

I don't know if he still has family in the area, if so, we all hope and pray
for their safety.....as well as all the gulf coast residents in that area.
I agree though, it is sickening to see all the devastation. What's really
horrifying is that Katrina was a Cat 4 storm at landfall, not even the most
powerful storm possible. It had been a Cat 5 with 175mph winds just a few
hundred miles out in the gulf.

Subject: [APML] OT: A prayer for the hurricane victims
I am awestruck with the very upsetting pictures I am seeing from the
devastation left in the path of Katrina. I am sick watching this. I cannot
imagine how terrible it must be to experience such a tragedy.
I know that Jerry Lodrigues is in that area and pray that he and family are
OK.
It just makes me sick watching this.
Sorry for the OT, but I have to get this off my chest.
Richard
