Sorry Alan for the late reply, Im really busy with
truck driving school again.
I got to do a drop and hook today and drive a rig
around for the first time!
Ok...for the downsizing...
First of all when you scan, you should be going about
2700 dpi which is a pretty big file the way it is.
Do most of your editing in this size.
When you have finished with your images, (colour
balancing, contrast, levels, etc), goto image size and
downsize the image to what you want usually 700 pixels
for a vertical image, and 800-1000 pixels for a wide
image.
Thats what i use.
