Steve,
I have the Orion XT10 with the 80mm guide scope!
That puts the mount at its limits! To say the least!
It's rated at 40 lbs.

Hi Dan---how heavy of a scope are you putting on the mount?
I had a CG5 mount which had to be very well balanced or it
wouldn't move my 8 inch SCT.
