That could be I suppose!
There have been the occasions when I have gotten this mount to track! And
very well I might add.
If nothing else I have removed all the slop and shouldn't see all the
bumping around thru the tracking scope.....lol
Still kind-a new at this guys so please forgive the ignorance!
I haven't been able to get it out to test since going thru it so time will
tell...............

Hi Dan---if your scope/mount isn't perfectly polar aligned, your field
of view will
tend to drift up or down in declination. How fast is a function of the
misalignment.
For reasonably well aligned systems only an occasional adjustment in Dec
would
be required.
How fast is your easterly drift? Could it be your clock (stepper motor
pulses) are a
little slow?
