[APML] Astro-Physics Field Flatner
I just bought an Astro-Physics Field Flatner from another astrophotographer
who used it in an off-axis guider assembly, not the normal AP FF assembly.
It was put back in the regular AP assembly, but I've used it and it's not
correcting the astigmatism in the 130EDT at f/8 at prime focus. I'm
wondering if it is a simple case of the element being in backwards, or if
it's a problem with the objective or cell in the scope.
Does anyone know definitively if the curved side of the optics in the FF
goes towards the sky or the camera?
thanks,
Jerry
