Thanks.
I wish Canon would have just done it the right way and passed as much
h-alpha through that filter that they could, instead of compromising so the
camera could still be used in the daytime.
But it's not bad considering it was from my driveway with all the light
pollution here.
It's interesting to compare it to my previous effort on M27 taken on film here:

The DSLR version is apparently a bit more accurate color wise, at least
according to Don Goldman and his article in Sky and Telescope (which is the
bible as far as I am concerned).
The green OIII stuff in the nebula is supposed to be "teal" colored... not
blue... not green... teal!
