RE: [APML] Sierra Star Trails Question
Hi Allan:
Congratulations, very nice shots. If you don't like the excess of green in your photos, you can remove it very easy with the default parameters of SCNR (Substractive Chromatic Noise Reduction) algorithm implemented in PixInsight LE 1.0.1 and later.

Carlos Sonnenstein

Hello -
I was in the Sierra Nevada the week of August 8th and took these star
trail images. Was at 11,000 feet - a nice dark site. The first image
was about an hour long exposure and the second about an hour and a
half. Taken on Fuji 100ASA Superia Print Film. The heavy green
response in the images was a surprise to me - kind of cool in an odd
way. I'm curious if others have seen this same effect. Any comments
are welcome!
Thanks,
Allan
