Hi Carlos,
  Thank you for posting.  I often find "where" astrophotos were taken from 
to be as interesting as the astrophotos themselves.  A remote location (and 
panorama) such as this was especially unique.
  May I suggest to all APML members if they would like to share, please 
place a link on their "astrophoto page" to "any special daylight photo" of 
were they took the astrophoto from, since collectively, we cover much of the 
globe.  Or if it is very unusual, just post a special "OT:" like Carlos did. 
I still remember many past photos such as this and who took them.
