Thanks for the recommendations on films. I
will jot these down and make a trip to Wal-mart tonight and see what they have.
I live in a small rural town (pop. 1250). Wal-mart is the next town over.
Perhaps after I get reacquainted this weekend I can mail order some of the
Provia. I’m sure Wal-mart doesn’t carry that. But then again,
we’ll see? I’ve never done slides before and
feel a bit uncomfortable. To me, I would think that prints would have a higher
resolution since they are larger. Scanning a slide to me seems like
enlarging a thumbnail. It would get grainy as you increase the size. Thanks
