Weeks! Where are you located? With that kind of time frame, you could
ship your film to place here in NYC and have them ship it back in less
time. Being in NYC has serious drawbacks for AP, but film processing
turnaround times for E6 are measured in hours (as in about 2).
Last year while in western Massachusetts, I asked the local "pro" shop
about E6 processing (they could do medium format C41 in-house). The
owner told me they ship it to NYC and it would take a week. If you can
find a place within a couple of hundred miles of you that does E6, I
suspect you can at least cut down on your delay. And of course, you
want to find out who the current shop is using to avoid them....

A year ago, I was lusting after the occasional Schmidt camera ads on
astromart. But between the limited opportunity to use one here and the
limited films, I'm sticking with what I've got (plus a recently acquired
Canon Digital Rebel).
