Re: [APML] RE: Red sensitive negative films?
Hey Chris,
Konica VX400 may be worth a try. It is the film Adorama substitutued
when I tried to order the Centuria 400 (without giving me notice of
course).
Just went to the older computer and pulled up the 2 shots I did with
it; 75 and 125 minutes on M42 and the Running Man area. It has an
overall purplish cast and M42's core was 'blocked' out. 'Burned' out
would not describe what happened. Happened on both shots and those are
the only 2 I shot on this film as I was trying to compare several films
in a short time. Wasn't sure if it was a film problem or something I
did differently while scanning. With me, you never know.
It might work very well for objects that don't have tons of dynamic
range.
