[APML] RE: Red sensitive negative films?

John, yes Im looking for a color neg replacement for
the aging supra 400, which now is so red I can hardly
process it. The desire for a neg film is due to the
much larger dynamic range compared to slide films such
as E200, and the fiasco of the slide chemistry.
Besides being very expensive now, slide chemistry only
lasts a month and a half at best after it is mixed and
used once. Local store processing of slides takes
WEEKS and the results are always terrible to
disasterous!

I think many of us are at a cross roads with film. I
built my second observatory to shoot the schmidt at
pristine skies, yet with no good films in sight, I
will have to decomission the whole schmidt camera. A
very sad thought!
