I have about 60+ rolls of PPF and one thing that it is especially good for
is to use it as a target. Set it up at 100 meters away with the spool end
facing you and use a very accurate rifle and fire away....

Seriously I found that there is a random color shift when used
astronomically. Different areas of the neg. show different amounts and hues
of color shift---not good. I always kept all the film in my refer so it was
well protected. I then tried a roll in my Pentax 6x7 (which is now for sale)
and did terrestrial photography. The color shift was not noticeable. The
relatively long exposures of astrophotography must accentuate the
registering of the color shift while the very short terrestrial exposure
times do not give the emulsion time to record any color shift.

Just my 2 cents worth of what I have found out using this film and I used to
use a lot of it.
