That's very old for an ISO 400 film. In all likelihood, its get up
and go has got up and went.:-)
If you like to take chances, you can take a few astrophotos with the
roll; however, I wouldn't use the whole role on astrophotos since
this would be too costly if it turns out to be bad. In summary, its
unlikely you will get acceptable results given its increased grain
size (generally speaking, grain size usually increases as film gets
farther beyond its expiration) and lack of recording power due to
cosmic rays "exposing" the film.
