Re: [APML] New Image: NGC 7331

Rob,

Awesome, just a killer image!

I have a question. This is not a criticism in any way, I'm just
trying to understand what is going on since I'm getting my first
experiences with digital imaging with a Canon 20Da.

I've noticed in my first images and in your NGC 7331 that when you
look at the gray channels there's a noticeable mottling in the red
and blue channels and much less in the green channel. I'm seeing the
same thing in my images. It seems to have something to do with S/N as
it shows up most in the lower levels.

Any insight?

Chuck
