RE: [APML] Stepper motor speed controller?
Steve,
That is what I was thinking. Being a ham, I could find one close to his
home. That was why I asked. Actually I would locate a local club that he
could contact. He would then have a number of options. If I knew where he
was in Canada, I could do the same thing.

Subject: Stepper motor speed controller?
Hi Fred---Brian is in Niagara Falls, but was away in Canada last I heard
from him.
I've been trying to locate a ham operator or ham/cb repair shop closer
to him, but its
kinda hard to do using Google. I'm convinced its a 20 minute job to
measure and
replace the variable resistor. Its end to end resistance will not have
been affected
by the super glue. He wants to send me the board for repair, which I'll
be happy to
do, but surely there's someone in his neighborhood who can do it a lot
quicker and
cheaper than mailing it back and forth across the country!
