Thanks for the compliment.
On a full resolution image you can see some trailing of the stars
towards one side (about 1.5 times the width of the stars) which may be
guiding, or polar alignment, or maybe film creep. I suspect guiding as
what I use for a guiding Ep is frightening.
The framing that I want is as you thought, I want to place Deneb a
little more to the left and up higher to catch the gamma cygnus
nebulosity. Now that I have a readable image I can make an acetate frame
to go over my charts which will allow me to accurately decide on the
framing before I shoot.
