Very nice photos, Renzo.

I see that you have an EQ6 (like myself) and that some of your earlier
pictures were manually guided. The longest focal length I shoot with is
600mm, also manually guided, but it can be a lot of work. How is the
periodic error on your EQ6 drive, and does the Sky Sensor 2000 deal well
with it?

Yes, Ray.
I used the Eq6 mount with manual guide till last year.
Now I use the ST-4 (I tried for six month in learning to use it) and it works very well.
I used the EQ6 with a acromatic 152/1200 for 20 minutes of exposure but it was a very hard job.
With the Vixen R200SS (800 mm focal lenght F:4) it was easier.
I don't know how is the periodic error but I think, processing some webcam films on the planets, it is less than +/-15"
The Skysensor is one of the best system for any mount. I never set the PEC and, when I guided manually) I had no problem woth exposure of 30/40 minutes.
Thanks, Ray for your compliments.
Clear skies
Renzo
