[APML] Movie film?
While preparing for the demise of tech pan and wondering about the fate
of Ilford I did some surfing for alternate sources of film (naturally
this all started the morning after I committed to buying a 60 cuft tank
of hypering gas.
I came across a small company that re-packages microfilm in 35mm and I
am in discussions with the company aboput getting a few samples. The
owner is not sure if the film will record 660nm but is willing to
provide a few sample rolls for testing. The film is around 80 ISO and
after I have a chance to play with it for response and hypering I'll let
the list know the results.
Afterwards I started wondering about re-packaged movie film. I remember
back in the early 80's you could get a re-packaged Kodak movie film
stock that could be processed either as colour negative or positive.
I then did a quick surf of the Fuji site and found that they have
several movie films that start their roll off after 650nm.

(watch the wrap around) Not having bought a photo magazine in two or
three years has anyone seen if the fuji films are available re-packaged
or if the 35mm stock is available in rolls as small as 100 feet.
The comes the question if the processing is C-41 or some other strange
process.
For the schmidt shooters who want to shoot longer times to practice
their guiding Fuji has a 64 film on the list... :^)
