Thanks everyone who replied.  I just wanted to verify that for small sized
prints A4 would be the way to go for "metric" photos.  It's certainly
surprising to me that in the UK the imperial measurements are also still
in use.  It must make for an inventory nightmare to someone owning a photo
supply store.

By the way, In the U.S. our paper size for documents is 8-1/2x11" but
photos are usually 8x10", so I didn't want to just assume A4 was valid for
photos as well as office documents.
