RE: [APML] Possible Stolen Image?
Here's a Hale-Bopp image resource, with a remarkably huge number of images on it

Subject: [APML] Possible Stolen Image?
On this page:
http://www.wunderground.com/wximage/viewimages.html?gallery=editorpick
is an image of a comet, it looks like Hale-Bopp to me.
The "photographer" claims it is a picture of "meteorites" taken the night of August 11, 2004. I've sent him an email innocently asking him for more details on how he took this image.
Anyway, I'm wondering if this image belongs to anyone here? There is a faint silhouette of a tree on the left side of the image.
Obviously the editor who added this image to their "Approver's Choices" doesn't know the difference between a comet and meteors or meteorites either.
Disgustedly,
Kevin Wigell
