Hey that's just about in my backyard! Well..about 3 hours north, but 3 hours pretty close when you live on the east side of the Sierras :) Very beautiful up there, and I'm glad to hear you're not getting much wind. FYI, at those altitudes you can still see lots of snow well into the summer. I guess it all melts off by early August tho.

Hope I get some--setting up in the dark at altitude was tougher than I
expected. Still, the temps were only about 40 and no wind. In May the
folks who stay here year round said there was still snow and it was much
cooler!
