Nicola,

Another thing to keep in mind is that most reflection nebulas shine 
most brightly in violet and near UV, where color film has little or no 
response. Tech Pan, with its strong response in near UV records them 
much better than color film. With color film you only record perhaps 
50% of the light from a typical reflection nebula.
