Re: [APML] (no subject)

To All,

I didn't send a message (knowingly) with a virus to anyone on APML.  I run both Norton Antivirus (up to date) and a firewall and have seen no activity.  I presume any message with a virus "from me" was a spoofed address.  I hope you all run antivirus software and keep it up to date.

Also, I don't ever attach any file to an APML message.  The message that Bradley received and copied below is an illustration of the type message I'm always suspicious of - and would not open an attached file.  My personal rule is: don't open an attachment on an E-Mail with no subject and/or with no message that was clearly and specifically written to me - no "this is funny" nor "you will like this" nor "new price".

Clear skies to all, and safe computing,
Don Westergren

A friend will come bail you out of jail when you mess up.
Your best friend will be sitting beside you saying "That was fun!"
