RE: [APML] dumb hypering question

Steve, unplug the heater, pump all the air out, and let it sit for 24hours.
then spool and refridgerate. Soaking in a vacuum will make the film even
faster afterwards.

Subject: [APML] dumb hypering question

I'm cooking some old RG200, and got to wondering what the "standard"
approach is at completion of hypering for 2 hours at 50 deg C and +3 PSI.
Should I unplug the heater, pull a vacuum on it, and then let it coast
down to room temp overnight still in the hypering chamber. Or should I
immediately drop the film into 35 mm cannisters and place in the
freezer? I have dry nitrogen available and could purge the chamber with
it, and then allow it to cool to room temp overnight, or drop the film
into cannisters and then the freezer.

Suggestions?

Steve
