Hi Jason--as Kent said, there's more to hypering than just getting the
water out--and getting the water out can be accomplished better using a
cheap pump--hand operated ones are available from Lumicon. I use a
recycled refrigerator pump purchased dirt cheap.
I don't store my hypered films with dessicant, but Lumicon usually
tossed in about five 3 mm diameter silica spheres in the 35 mm film
cannisters they have sold to me in the past. Another source of
reusable dessicant with a color indicator for wet/dry is at:

I use one of their cannisters for dry air purge instead of nitrogen
purging like some of the other folks here on APML.
