Subject: [APML] July Blues in the July Sky
Hi all -
Here are my images from the auroral display back on July 26th/27th.
I could detect no color visually in the early display on the evening of the
26th or later that night (the27th) but was delighted to see the Provia 400F
picked up an intense blue. This is the first blue aurora I've captured.
Quite exciting! All taken with a 24mm Nikkor @ f/2.8

So far I've logged seven displays since moving back here to New England in
summer 2002. I have to say, trying to capture them is very addictive....
but can see how you guys in Canada would get annoyed at 'em.... <g>
Comments welcome!
Take care,
Chris
