Thanks to all the reply.

I took a closer look at the poster printer in our institute.  It's 
HP DesignJet 2500CP.  Its manual says it has 600 dpi resolution
and it can print up to 36" wide with any length.  I wonder if this kind
of printer could be used for continuous tone images.  Does Tony
or Jason use similar ones?  

I found on A&I's website (www.aandi.com) that they have "Lightjet
Print," which is kind of expansive.  Does anyone know about its 
quality?
