[APML] Mini Borg 45ED & ST-4 Autoguider

 Hello everyone,

 I was wondering if anyone on the list is using the Mini Borg 45ED and
ST-4 for autoguiding? It is only a 300mm FL lens and I would be using
it to guide a 1040mm FL @ f/8 or 770mm FL @ f/6 (with reducer) TAK
FS128 refractor. It has been my impression that the guide scope should
be as close to the imaging FL as possible. But I know practical
experience is not always the same as theory. I am presently using a
Vixen 102 (1000mm FL f/10) with a ST-4 and I am looking to reduce the
weight of my system. 

 Any comments or suggestion would be appreciated.
