I'm trying to transfer my old Super C-8 telescope
which is still attached to the "old" fork mount to a Losmandy DC8
dovetail. The DC8 dovetail states it bolts to the existing holes on the
telescope, but I can't figure out how or where. I bought this scope brand new
back in 1981. Is this scope too old for this particular dovetail (i.e.,
screws don't match)? I bought the dovetail new, but it did not come with any instuctions so could someone please shed some light on the subject? Could you include all details (e.g., removing the scope from the fork mount, potential gotchas, etc.). Thanks in advance, ...Wade... |
