[APML] G-11 worm/bearing block loosen (OT)

Hello group, I have a permanent setup using a g-11 which is heavily
loaded (side by side plate). The problem is I cannot keep the worm/
bearing blocks aligned. They tend to loosen. Because of it being
permanent there are major temperature swings so I was wondering if  that
could be the cause or is it the heavily loaded mount (10" SCT/ 5"
refractor/ guidescope)? The mount performs well  just after aligning &
tightening the worm/ block. But little by little the play returns. Any
ideas? I tried calling Scott but he must be away. Thank you, Gerry
