I have an Epson 2450 and it compares very favourably with my old HP 
Photoscanner. My 2450 cannot quite match my Minolta Scan Dual II for 
sharpness but it seems to equal it in Dynamic Range. I think that anyone 
shooting large format film might want to consider the Epson as a real 
alternative to a dedicated film scanner.
